Complex Systems
Hi, I'm Ikhlas.
I care as much about how things work as how they look.
I'm a multidisciplinary designer based in Sri Lanka, with experience across digital products, visual design, and interactive experiences.
Much of my work has involved designing complex systems, particularly in smart home technology. I enjoy understanding how things operate behind the scenes, working closely with engineers, and turning technical requirements into experiences that make sense to people.
My background also includes creative direction and teaching game design at university. Both have shaped how I approach problems, communicate ideas, and collaborate with others.
Outside work, I'm into photography, motorcycles, karate, and exploring new ideas. I enjoy learning how things work, whether it's a piece of technology, a mechanical system, or something completely unrelated to design.

Ownership
I care about what gets built, not just what gets designed. I stay involved through implementation and refinement.
